Jonah M. Wolfson, Esq. proudly hails from Miami, Florida, where he was born and raised. After completing high school locally, he pursued a degree in English at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. To support himself during his college years, Jonah worked on a commercial fishing boat in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Upon graduating, he embarked on a transformative five-month hike along the Appalachian Trail, a journey that profoundly shaped his views on life and the practice of law. Jonah then returned to academia, enrolling at Chicago-Kent College of Law. During his time in law school, he gained invaluable experience as an intern at the Cook County Office of the Public Defender, where he had the opportunity to try several cases to verdict. It was also in Chicago that he met his beloved wife, Andrea.
After earning his law degree, Jonah returned to his Miami roots and successfully passed the bar exam on his first attempt. Since then, he has dedicated himself to personal injury law, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex tort cases, including wrongful death, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall incidents, negligent security, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice. However, Jonah's true passion lies in advocating for victims of negligence, a commitment he has maintained since 2005.
Before focusing on personal injury law, he practiced as a litigation attorney at Valle, Craig, Sioli, and Lynott, PA, handling insurance defense cases for over three years. In addition to his legal career, Jonah is dedicated to public service. In 2007, he was elected to the Miami Beach City Commission, where he served on several committees, including Land Use, Finance, Flooding, and Sustainability. He also chaired the "Let Miami Beach Decide" campaign, which successfully opposed a mega development on public land through grassroots petitioning and litigation. Known for occasionally representing victims of overdevelopment, such as condo associations or residents, Jonah continues to demonstrate his commitment to serving the public and advocating for community interests.
